Stephen took this picture this morning. I guess Leah is kind of like her mom, too. Just wait until her arms get a little longer, and her head size evens out with her body. Then she will be able to get her arm all the way above her head, just like me! And, my mom sleeps with her arm above her head, too. It's amazing to see another person do something just like you, and know that it's because she is part of you. As you can see, Leah has one hand out of her swaddle. We are trying, one arm at a time, to faze her out of the swaddle. It's been pretty hard so far. After being awake for 2 hours last night, I finally put her in bed with us and snuggled her close until she fell asleep. Hence, the picture of us sleeping in bed together.

Another family trait inherited?

Oh how I miss my little princess. I miss seeing how cute she is when she first wakes up in the morning. And I especially miss that sweet little voice chirping away when she thinks she's being ignored! Give her huge kisses and hugs for me and tell her how much Nana loves her! I know she must miss it since I told her everyday for two week!

That's so cute! Her cheeks look adorable... there's just something about sleeping baby cheeks. Glad that your flights went well too! We so wish we were closer so Dillon, Leah, Ella and Marina could play together. I love checking into your blog for updates though. :)
