My sweet girl
One of the joys (and fears) of being a first-time mom is that you don't know if what your baby does is normal, above average (below average) or anything else. You just know that your baby does it, and it makes you think you have the smartest, most advanced baby in the world. Every night, as Leah and I go through her bedtime routine, we do our devotions, pray, and then I sing her a song, and rock her for a little bit. As she is falling asleep, cradled in my arms, I put one of my hands on Leah's chest. She then wraps her little arm around mine and strokes my arm. I think that must be very advanced. I mean, how many 4 month old babies show affection like this? If this is not advanced, please don't tell me. I at least have the sweetest baby in the whole world, if not the smartest. I love my girl!

We all love her too and wish we could hold her and cuddle too.

Awwwww! So, so precious. Tell Stephen to sneak in and take a picture for us all to see. What an adorable little sweetheart! Yep, I can't stand this distance. I MUST make a trip to Gainesville soon!
ReplyDeleteLove you so much,
Nana
From another Grandma's point of view I am very sure she is advanced! Rachael, you are a wonderfuly mommy and I am glad that Leah is letting you know that. We love and miss you all.
