An afternoon at the park

We took Leah to my school this afternoon to play on the playground. It is such a beautiful day in Gainesville, that we just had to get out of the house. So, we loaded all four of us in the car (Pippin got to come also) and headed to my school for Leah's first time in a playground swing.


Leah also went on the slide for the first time. Daddy helped her go down by herself, but she didn't like it.

So, Daddy and Leah went together on the twisty slide! Much better!

Notice how Daddy is covering Leah's fat tummy hanging out of her shirt. She's becoming quite the chunky girl.

While we were playing with Leah, we let Pippin run free. He decided to roll around in the dried, chopped up grass. Now he looks like Harry the Dirty Dog. He is currently in the backyard. We are refusing to let him in the house with his dirty nastiness.

    Such a fun day! Swings and slides! A day full of firsts. I know it was exciting to have all those new sensations. Was she afraid of swinging, too? Next time won't be so scary. Kiss my angel for me.

    This other Grandma loves the pictures too. It looks like Stephen was having almost as much fun as Leah! Love and miss you guys,

    Great pictures. It looks like she was really enjoying most of it, especially with Stephen on the slide. She is such a doll. We love her.
