De Leon Springs
We decided that we wanted to do something fun for Spring Break, rather than me just sitting at home all day, so Stephen thought of going to De Leon Springs State Park. It's just about an hour and a half away and is this really neat little park. The spring is said to be the fountain of youth Ponce De Leon was looking for. Stephen went swimming in the spring so we'll see if he gets any older! It was originally a plantation and then became a theme resort with a hotel, a water-skiing elephant, and trapeze artists until Disney came and messed it up for them. When it was a plantation it had a sugar mill, which has now been changed into a restaurant where you get to cook your own pancakes on a griddle at your table. It was a lot of fun!

We got blueberries and pecans to put in ours. Yum!
