Leah also got to pick a lucky duck from the "duck pond" and she won a container of play-doh! There were a few other activities to do, but mostly they required more physical ability than Leah has right now. Maybe next year she will do them!

Halloween Festival
I know it has been a long time since I last posted. Stephen has been hogging the computer for the last few weeks as he has been working on his qualifying exams in his pursuit of his doctorate. He has spent many hours writing, locked away from us, and 122 pages later, he is done! We are proud of his hard work and dedication as he develops his skill in academic writing and his expertise in his field. Now...back to the world of Leah! With Daddy being finished and Mommy having a day off from work, we are getting to have a fun family day today, complete with visit to Leah's daycare for their Fall Festival.
Leah, the puppy, got lots of compliments on how cute she was. We agree!
One of the activities was decorating cookies with icing and sprinkles.
Mommy helped Leah eat a bite...
But, Leah would rather do it herself. Yum!
There was a buried treasure activity, which Leah was not too thrilled with. She didn't like the feel of the corn very much.
Leah says, "Whoopty-do, a spider ring! Where's the candy?!"
Leah also got to spin the wheel to win a prize. She finally won some candy - A chocolate gold coin! But Daddy ate it! :(
Leah also got to pick a lucky duck from the "duck pond" and she won a container of play-doh! There were a few other activities to do, but mostly they required more physical ability than Leah has right now. Maybe next year she will do them!

She looked like she mostly liked the Halloween Fun Festival!! We are having a busy but great time in Costa Rica! We saw some fantastic houses today that have real possibilities.
