Reading with Mommy
We just got a few new books from Seedlings Books, one of the companies that makes Braille books. They take books and put transparent labels with Braille on them. They sell the books for pretty cheap, too! They have a program in which they give 2 free books a year to blind children. This year, one of the books we got is called Little Feet Love. It's got different textured things on every page that you are supposed to let your feet feel. It's Leah's new favorite book. She is getting very good at feeling all over the pages and seems to really be learning that this is the way she will read. Leah loves to read a couple of books everyday with Mommy.
