Halloween: Daddy Style

I did not grow up in a house where Halloween costumes were a big deal. In fact, there were several years of being "sheet ghosts". Most years, we never even dressed up. As a result, the idea of planning a cute costume is just not a priority. It doesn't help that Stephen has no desire to ever be anything other than Obi Wan Kenobi, so...

There you have it. Leah has officially taken my place as Leia. We all knew it would happen someday!

"Help me, Obi Wan! You're my only hope."

We also had to include our jack-o-lantern. This year's was a definite group effort. I came up with the idea (Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas), Stephen drew the design, and Andrew did the carving. Poor Andrew got stuck with the hard part. We think it turned out pretty good!
