I know Mother's Day was over a week ago, but it's not too late for me to say how blessed I feel, to be the mother of this most special little girl. I was thinking back to the days of being pregnant and wondering what life would be like as a mother. In my wildest dreams, I never would have imagined life to be the way it has been. Through God's Grace, we have experienced wonderful joy as we have walked through the trials of the last 3 years. These are some of the things that bring joy to my life as Leah's mom:
- Leah still enjoys snuggling - most of the time!
- Leah delights in laughter - especially her own laughter. She likes to experiment with different giggles, guffaws, and laughs.
- Leah adores music - she loves listening and dancing to music, but she also loves to make up her own songs to sing.
- Leah loves the light - something so simple can be completely captivating. Lord willing, she will always walk in the Light.

Rachael, I love you and Leah so much. I am just like your mom because this brought to my eyes as well. Leah is so blessed to have you and Stephen as her mommy and daddy. You are an amazing daughter-in-law and our family is so blessed because you are a part of it.
