A Friday that will not quickly be forgotten

Friday was my last day of teaching high school chemistry. Next year I am going back to UF full time to work on my Ph.D. It was a very bittersweet day. I have been teaching at P.K. Yonge for six years and my classroom really does feel like home. I have truly enjoyed every lab and explosive demo and will always remember the students who fell in love with chemistry after having my class. I look forward to what God has in store for Rachael, Leah, and me in this next chapter of our lives.
After school we had dinner with our good friend Betsy and her baby Ella. It was great to celebrate the end of the school year with such great friends. I am going to enjoy this weekend and not worry about all the packing that needs to be done in my classroom next week.

My third period chemistry class on the last day of school (I forgot a tripod)
