Leah's day at the hospital with Daddy.
Today I took Leah to the hospital twice; once to get an MRI and once to meet with her Neurosurgeon. Leah was remarkably calm during her MRI. She cried and was uncomfortable, but she didn't scream like last time. She even kept her pacifier in her mouth through the entire procedure. MRI machines are loud. Leah wore ear-muffs and they gave me earplugs. The funny thing was that whenever it did get loud, Leah would stop crying. We just got back from our second visit where we went over today's MRI. It revealed that Leah's ventricles have decreased in size since her shunt surgery. Leah's head growth seems to have "stabilized" and her soft spots were soft. All of this means that we won't be going back to Neurosurgery any time soon. Our next appointment is a year from now. Praise the Lord!
