Poor Baby!
Leah has been sick on and off for more than three weeks now. Being sick has made her lose her appetite, so she hasn't eaten much in the last few weeks. Each time she starts to get her appetite back, something else has come along and she has stopped eating again. The latest is teething. Leah is getting in her 2-year molars and these are causing her more pain than any other teeth so far (which I've heard is common). Leah spent about 6 hours yesterday afternoon/evening screaming and crying almost the entire time. Two back to back doses of Tylenol were not helping, so I went to the store and got some Children's Ibuprofen, which finally worked. Tonight, right before dinner, Leah started to act like the pain was returning, so I gave her more medicine. During dinner, she refused to eat, so I just let her sit in her chair for a little. When it started to get really quiet, I checked on her, and this is what I found...

Poor sweet girl! I wish I could snuggle her, although I'm sure you two are doing plenty of that! Anna Kate has always responded better to ibuprofen than tylenol too...hope it's helping!
ReplyDeleteStephan and Rachel, Just stopped in to check on and see new photos of Leah. She looks very cute and growing. I miss her everyday and know she is doing wonderful. I know she is doing great and am happy for her and you. Personally I think you did a move for Leah also, but knew I could not say that at the time. I pray for Leah and you all everyday and miss her a ton. Best wishes. Ms Eleanor
