We are playing a little bit of blog catch-up as this is my spring break and we have been doing a little bit of traveling. After visiting family in Tampa, we decided to make a quick family trip to Ft. Myers Beach. We stayed in a nice resort right on the beach, which apparently is Spring Break Central. I guess we should have thought of that! This hotel really catered to the spring break crowd with games, activities and live music all day, followed by karaoke on the rooftop at night. It actually wasn't too bad. Fortunately, karaoke only lasted until about 10:30. And, we were able to wake up in the morning and pretty much have the beach to ourselves, as all the kids were sleeping till noon! We had a great time, and Leah really enjoyed her first ocean experience!

ReplyDeleteShe looks like she's really loving the ocean! (Gulf!!!) Maybe Easter weekend, we can take Leah and Riley to the beach. They would have so much fun! Glad you all had a nice relaxing time.
