Carolina Trip

We took one last summer trip to both Carolina's to visit both sides of the family. Our trip began in Greer, SC where we went to one of my cousin's weddings. We had a good time hanging out in downtown Greenville, which is close to Greer. We also had a great time visiting with the 68 members of my immediate family that came to the wedding. That is 68 of the 115 total members of my family which includes my grandparents, aunts and uncles, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I am one of 46 grandchildren and Leah is one of at least 25 great-grandchildren. My family is big, crazy, and I love them!

After the wedding, we drove to Oak Island, NC, to meet up with all of Stephen's siblings at a house we rented at the beach.We had a great time playing on the beach. The boys did a lot of kayaking, the kids loved playing in the sand, and us girls enjoyed relaxing when we weren't dealing with children, husbands, or cooking! We loved this place so much, we just may go back every year!

Most nights we went for walks. The house we rented had tons of kids stuff for us to use, including the trike and the wagon!

We went to visit the light house on the island during Leah's nap one day.
