Fun at the Moningers!

Our dear friends, Jim and Betty June have often opened their home to people in our church and we have benefited from that hospitality as well. They are both retired teachers, Betty June taught kindergarten, and Jim was a middle school science teacher. This connection, along with an Arkansas connection, have drawn us together. They invited us to come to their amazing lake home to water ski and have lunch. Jim was a semi-professional water skier, and did such an amazing job of teaching Andrew to ski the last time we went to their house that Andrew got up on his second try. On this trip, 3 years later, Andrew got up first try! Stephen water skied as well, and I have to say, he's pretty good, too! Leah and I just enjoyed the boat rides, no water skiing for us! Leah also enjoyed the hammock that Jim has hung from the under side of the dock. We weren't even bothered by any alligators either!

Pretty good for only his second time water skiing!

Stephen was pretty impressive with his water skiing skills!

Mommy and Leah had fun on the boat ride. Leah loves the wind through her fingers!

Leah had fun swimming with Daddy in the water.

She had more fun relaxing in the hammock, though!

Thanks for a great day, Jim and Betty June!
