Meeting Cooper Andrew Hanks

We have had a good time in DC visiting with Sarah and Dustin, playing with Wesley, and of course meeting our newest nephew, Cooper. Here are a few pics to document our time here.

Cooper and Aunt Rachael. We liked to snuggle. We also talked and cooed and smiled together.

Stephen snuck this picture when Sarah and Dustin weren't looking. He also did it when Wesley was three weeks old and we came to DC to meet him (check Sarah's blog for proof!). Stephen says it has become a tradition.

Big brother Wesley was holding Cooper in his lap and gave him a big smooch.

All bundled up and ready to go out for a visit to the Capitol. Notice the animal outfits: Pink Bunny, Silly Monkey, and Baby Bear.

A family picture in front of the Capitol. We braved the below freezing temperatures to tour the new visitors center, but unfortunately it is closed on Sunday. Bummer!!
