Ringing in the New Year in our Nation's Capital

We have been thoroughly enjoying our trip to DC to meet our new nephew Cooper and visit with my sister Sarah, her husband Dustin, and our other nephew Wesley. I realize that Cooper is actually not in any of the following pictures, but I promise we will take a great group picture tomorrow and post it.

I just love taking pictures of our Capitol building.

Rachael and Leah at the Botanical Garden

Leah has been quite the happy girl lately

Watching Sesame Street videos on YouTube

Wesley really loves his cousin "Leah girl"

  1. These are so sweet of your Leah Rose. I am your Mom's cousin from Arkansas. I have been getting notes from Nancy via facebook and I have been praying for Leah and your family. Nancy and Mary Lyn and I are not that close in years or person - but recently Marilyn has gotten us all back together. I have always loved all the twins kids but we never really had anytime to visit with each other due to the distance. 3 hours does not seem like much to some people but to us it was a real trip. I have worked all my life until recently - now I just take care of my Husband who has been ill for about 10 years. last year I was laid of - blessing from God - I took care of my Dad until he passed away - his name was Roy Fish - and now I just take care of Jimmy. I am Susan the middle child and I hope we become pen pals so to speak. I will continue to pray for your Leah Rose and your family and tell everyone hello for me. Susan Mason .

  2. Was looking at that precious picture of Wesley kissing Leah. Reminds me of the Michael-Denise picture. In another year or two, we may have to make another kissing cousins picture for you!

Sweet letter from my cousin, Susan. You should meet her one day, she's a real sweetheart!

    Love you,
    Nana
