12 month check-up

We forgot to tell everyone about Leah's 12 month check-up. We went on Wednesday and Leah had to get 3 shots. Poor little girl still has bruises on both legs from the shots. Everything looks good with Leah. She was 20 lbs 12 oz, which is in the 50%. The pediatrician was happy about that because at her 9 month appointment her weight had gone down to about the 30 %. And she was 30 inches long, which is the 75%. Leah's head circumference is still big, but is stable. This means the shunt continues to do it's job. Now that Leah is one year old, she is also getting to try new things. She has started having whole milk, and loves it! Daddy said he wants to start giving her chocolate milk, too, but I vetoed that. She has also gotten to have egg whites with her egg yolks, and loves it too! We are so fortunate to have a great eater. Speaking of eating, her favorite food right now is chicken nuggets.
