Meeting the Easter Bunny!

Last weekend one of the sororities had an Easter egg hunt for all of the children in the area who are visually impaired. At the egg hunt, Leah got to meet the Easter bunny and got her face painted. Unfortunately, it was kind of cold, and rainy and we didn't want to her to get sick, so she didn't get to hunt for eggs. You might ask how visually impaired children can have an egg hunt. The answer is talking eggs. You can buy plastic eggs that talk. They whistle and say, "Yoo-hoo, I'm hiding!" and other things. And when you take the top of, a little chick is inside that says, "You found me!" It's pretty neat. Leah has four of them. Here are some pics from the day.

Leah met the Easter bunny

She got her face painted, but she didn't like it at all.

Mommy makes it better

At least I got a basket full of candy!

  1. I LOVE everyone of these pictures. The one where you quote the verse looks like she is looking up toward the Risen Jesus!! I love each one!!
