We went to the Beach House for a few days vacation, just Stephen, Leah, and me. The Beach house is Stephen's family's vacation home on the Long Beach Peninsula on the coast of Washington. It is a place that his family has owned since 1974. We had a relaxing time with just our little family, doing some of the required things you do while at the beach, and just sitting around enjoying each other's company. Here is Leah sitting in front of the beach house. She is so advanced, already sitting up by herself!
Leah was very intrigued by all of the light coming in from the windows. She couldn't wait to get outside for her first walk on the beach!

We went into the town of Oysterville for a tour and, of course, oysters. Stephen likes to get smoked oysters from Oysterville Sea Farms. His favorite flavor is the Habanero Hots. We also went into Long Beach and walked around the town. We had to go to Marsh's Free Museum and see Jake the alligator man. But we also spent time at the beach house just hanging out. Here is Leah and me hanging out in our pajamas in the morning.
A good family portrait at Oysterville.
Our sweet little girl.

Okay, tell me how you got her to sit up on the beach in that last picture. You obviously are not holding her up. Have you got a mound of sand all piled up behind her? Love these pictures. She is having a great time. She's the most traveled baby in her first three months. Kiss her and tell her Nana loves her so much and can't wait to see her next weekend.
