Update from the hospital
Today has been quite the day. We went today to Leah's 6-month well check-up and found out that Leah's head circumference had spiked significantly and that her soft spots were bulging. We were told to check in at the emergency room ASAP. So we did. Leah has already had a CT scan and we are waiting for the official word from Neurosurgery. We do know from our attending ER doctor that Leah's ventricles have enlarged significantly and that shunting is most likely going to be necessary. We won't know more about when that will take place until we hear from the neurosurgeon. I will update this when I know more. Be praying for all of us.
